Created an augmented reality experience for the college with goal of exploring technology for academics. Evaluated software for use in GIS Center. Involved in set up of Skidmore’s GeoServer, and responsible for its use.
Implemented regression testing tool for PCC’s Electronic Health Record product. Worked from series of manual tests to create suite of test scripts in Python. Performed functional testing of new features for two releases.
Summer 2009, 2010
Assisted with project management for payment processing and marketing data feeds. Worked with several departments and contractors to facilitate understanding of different systems and interdependencies. Managed User Acceptance Testing of corporate webpages (2010). Aided in production of new consumer website. Utilized CMS to propagate content, designed standard operating procedures, and assisted with User Acceptance Testing of website (2009).
Researched, wrote, and presented Senior Thesis project detailing various techniques of steganography. With a focus on least significant bit embeddings in images, developed understanding of various techniques for implementing and detecting steganography. Wrote a simple steganographic algorithm which resisted attacks from several freely-available tools. Awarded Departmental Honors.
Pente Artificial Intelligence Players
Wrote Java classes and interfaces to implement Pente. Implemented a heuristic, an αβ player, a reinforcement learner, and a GUI for users. Presented results.
COMPMOP Instruction Set Architecture & Processor
Designed custom 10-bit Instruction Set Architecture to solve two discrete problems minimizing dynamic instruction count. Developed custom hardware operations, emulated processor with Python script, and simulated CPU in Verilog using Xilinx.
Skearch Search Engine Project, Index Builder
Worked on team to create search engine using original design for Google using Stanford research paper. Responsible for Index Builder which creates searchable indices from HTML content. Wrote code to map words and pivot indices. Deployed Index Builder to Amazon Web Services to a cluster of eight machines.
